Abstract
On November 30, 2022, the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (SEI) hosted an invitation-only workshop to bring together key stakeholders in edge systems and share challenges, solutions, and lessons learned, as well as identify top-priority areas that require further research and development.
The outcome of this workshop was a summary report outlining the trajectory of edge software systems for the future, emphasizing the need to focus on specific areas to address research and development gaps.
