March 16, 2020—The SEI has canceled the SEI Architecture Technology User Network (SATURN) 2020 Conference due to the escalating travel and safety concerns related to the global COVID-19 outbreak caused by the novel coronavirus.

“While we are disappointed to miss this opportunity to connect with the software architecture community from around the globe in person, we believe this is the best decision we can make at this time,” said a statement from the conference’s organizers. “We'd like to thank all of those who submitted content for SATURN and all who planned to join us.”

The conference organizers plan to make some SATURN content available digitally, most likely through a series of webinars, blogs, and podcasts. More details on future digital content will be posted to the event’s website.

The SEI will refund in full all registration fees and will contact registrants to initiate this process.  Attendees must cancel their hotel reservations directly with the hotel.

Email info@sei.cmu.edu with any questions, and check the conference’s website, https://resources.sei.cmu.edu/news-events/events/saturn/, for further updates.
