Davis Systems has become the latest organization to become an SEI Strategic Partner for the Team Software Process (TSP). Founded in 1993, Davis Systems provides software process management services to organizations seeking needed process improvements.
In addition to the services provided by other SEI Partner Network organizations, Strategic Partners are able to teach SEI advanced courses, conduct qualifying events such as observations and certification examinations for individuals in SEI qualification tracks, and conduct quality assurance and standardization activities for the SEI technologies they represent. Davis Systems will deliver the TSP advanced courses (TSP Coach and PSP Instructor Training) in India and Malaysia. It will also offer the TSP certification exams.
“Davis Systems is very excited about our new relationship with the SEI,” said Noopur Davis, principal, Davis Systems. “We have been an SEI Partner for more than 15 years.” Davis noted that her firm has used SEI technologies to train thousands of professionals and to help hundreds of organizations improve their software development practices. “As Strategic Partners for India and Malaysia, we look forward to providing enhanced services to our clients there,” said Davis. “We are also exploring opportunities to engage with universities, colleges, and other organizations to expand the use of SEI technologies in the region.”
James Over, manager of the SEI’s Team Software Process Project, was pleased to recognize the inclusion of Davis Systems as an SEI TSP Strategic Partner in India. “Davis Systems has been an SEI Partner since 1996,” noted Over. “They have years of experience in the SEI’s process management technologies, including CMM, CMMI, TSP, and PSP. Davis Systems has worked with many of the world’s premier software organizations, helping them achieve substantial improvement in capability and performance.”
