Key Responsibilities

Rotem Guttman is a cybersecurity researcher focused on developing new and engaging methods to improve training for cybersecurity personnel. Guttman is the PI for the Automated Cyber-Readiness Evaluator (ACE) research project, aimed at developing a system for the automated evaluation of cyber personnel. Guttman is responsible for the creation and ongoing development of the GUS user simulation framework, providing realistic user activity for training and simulation activities. Guttman also develops immersive training scenarios for cyber personnel as part of the Cyber-Heroes program, leveraging gamification techniques to increase engagement by the target audience.


Research Interests

Cybersecurity training, machine learning, computer vision, gamification and serious games.
